Our dual-leveled duplex cottages are tastefully appointed and provide every bit of comfort you need during your stay, with full air conditioning in every room and no load-shedding inconveniences.

Full-sized 1,7 m. deep swimming pool is great for a relaxing plunge or an energizing swim. Children can safely play in the adjoining kids pool with just 50cm water depth.

Bigger families can also book the full duplex for extra space and comfort. Disabled-friendly cottage also available.

Marloth Park
  • Marloth Park is a wildlife sanctuary situated on the southern borders of the Kruger National Park and just a short drive from the park gates. Just by staying at Melamar Estate you will find yourself immersed into beautiful and exotic wildlife of Africa. Giraffe, zebra, kudu, impala, warthog, bushbuck, vervet monkey and many other species can all be seen frequently just on the doorsteps of the estate. Marloth Park covers over 3000 hectares and all animals have complete freedom of movement within this unique wildlife preserve.

  • Within a short ride lies the magnificent Kruger National Park which is home to thousands of species. Please ask our staff for expert advice and any special arrangements for tours and places of interest.

  • Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMI) is about 50 minutes away from Marloth Park, and we can provide an additional transfer service to and from the airport.

    Spring and Summer turn the surroundings lush green. Many animals give birth during these seasons, and birdwatchers have the opportunity to observe numerous bird species that migrate to the park during this time.
    Autumn and Winter represent dry periods in the bush, characterized by less dense vegetation and increased visibility of game. Animals frequent waterholes more regularly due to the scarcity of water in the bush during these times of the year.

No walking around

No walking around in the bush/on the streets after dark (Sunset to sunrise curfew is enforced for all residents and guests).


Animals

Animals have the right of way at ALL TIMES. Please also remain vigilant when driving to avoid harming small creatures like tortoises, snakes, and lizards, etc,


Day walks

Day walks are allowed in Marloth Park, kindly ask the office for a map of the park. You can encounter many animals on the way and within Melamar Estate.


Individual Approach

Interaction with animals without personnel supervision can be dangerous.
